In this blog, you will find a list of performers who regularly do programs for children and young adults in Massachusetts libraries. I'm hoping this will be some one-stop shopping for librarians who are looking for feedback about a particular performer.
If you see the name of a program you have had, please comment on your experience by clicking on the comments link under the post. Also, please rate the performer on a scale from 1 to 10 (10 being the best).
If you want me to add someone to the blog, just send me an email (ncouture@mvlc.org) with the following information: performer name, website or other contact info, what they do (magic, music, puppets, etc.), age groups they perform for, and any other information you think would be worthwhile to include.

We have had Davis Bates & Roger Tincknell perform here in Upton in the past and are very-much looking forward to having them both back again (together) this July. Davis applied for & rec'd a cultural council grant so the program is not costing the library a thing! But they are well-worth paying for!!!! I agree w/Noelle's rating.

Davis Bates and Roger Tincknell are accomplished musicians and storytellers. We have always hired them together and their shows have always been profession and fun!
Definitely a "10!."
We've had Davis alone as well as Davis and Roger together, and they are always fun and professional. They easily adapt their program to the crowd they have in front of them. Fantastic storytelling by Davis. A "10" without thinking about it! He will pro-rate his fee for libraries.
